At Intuitive Movements & Breath, classes are beginner-friendly and made accessible to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Our classes cater to diverse needs, ensuring a welcoming environment for all participants to explore and thrive.

Expertise, Certifications & Credentials
Josephine has always enjoyed being physically active including practicing different movement, breath, and meditation-based activities since her youth.
Josephine is a workplace wellness advocate, a frequent conference speaker, and corporate workshop facilitator. She has led or spoken at online and in-person events for groups ranging up to 200 attendees.
With over 2000 hours of formal movement training, Josephine is a yoga therapist (qualifying), and a certified mindfulness facilitator, mind-body and somatic coach, and children's yoga teacher. Josephine is Level 2 iRest meditation and yoga Nidra teacher. She has undergone many other trainings including in breathwork, compassion coaching, trauma sensitive yoga training, and therapeutic Pilates.
When Pain Becomes Purpose
Josephine's numerous intensive certifications and credentials speak to her continued commitment to supporting others in their wellbeing and healing.
But these holistic modalities later took on even greater significance with her own first-hand experience surviving domestic & intimate partner violence, then later navigating burnout, caregiver fatigue, grief, and the persistent PTSD and chronic pain symptoms she struggled with whilst juggling a demanding legal career and single motherhood.
Experience Brings Perspective
There are insights and knowledge that cannot be gained simply from reading a book or taking a weekend yoga course.
With the wisdom and understanding that comes only from lived experience, combined with thousands of hours of professional training and work with others, Josephine now helps individuals find agency again, navigate their journey towards healing, and explore supportive practices to reclaim their lives and finding greater self-compassion, self-worth, well-being and ease.
1-on-1 Sessions
When not teaching or facilitating groups or workshops, Josephine also provides 1-on-1 sessions drawing also from her Somatic Experiencing (Advanced-level) and iRest training for people living with the effects of trauma and chronic pain.
Volunteer Work
This year, Josephine is continuing to make a limited number of offerings available specifically to those navigating acquired/traumatic brain injury, and survivors of past domestic or intimate partner violence.
